Locums Hematology/Oncology - Marquette, MichiganQuick Highlights

Location: Marquette, Michigan
Specialty: Hematology/Oncology
Start Date: September 21, 2026
Assignment: Ongoing
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Patient Volume: 10-15 patients per day
Practice Setting: Primarily Outpatient (95-99%)

Availability Needed

Start: 09/21/2026
Ongoing assignment
Preferred coverage: Two consecutive weeks per month
Current coverage dates:
- 09/21 (8 AM) - 10/05 (8 AM)
- 10/19 (8 AM) - 11/02 (8 AM)
- 11/16 (8 AM) - 11/30 (8 AM)
- 12/14 (8 AM) - 12/28 (8 AM)
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Occasional night and weekend beeper call

Licenses Required

Active Michigan Medical License Required
Not accepting IMLC

Board Certification

Board Certified Hematology/Oncology Required

Required Certifications

ACLS
BLS

Preferred Qualifications

Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Preferred

Experience & Practice Details

Average 10-15 patients per day
Approximately 95-99% outpatient with minimal inpatient consults
Inpatient rounding primarily handled by APPs
Phone/beeper call only
15-minute call response time
Collegial multidisciplinary oncology team
Trauma Level II

Support Staff

Physician and Advanced Practice Provider team
Registered Nurses
Nurse Navigators
Pharmacists
Laboratory staff
Social Worker
Financial Counselors
Research Associate
Genetic Counselor
Care Manager
Administrative support team
