Credentialing time frame: 60 days
Shift Description Monday Friday, 9-hour shift with 1-hour lunch
Will accept multiple providers
Overnight call: 15-hour call shift
Weekend call: 24 hours
Seeking full block coverage only

Phone Consults: 2 4
Patients Seen: up to 12 per day
Requirements Board Certified in Gastroenterology
Licensed in Michigan only

Required Procedures / Skills Upper GI endoscopy with:
Foreign body removal
Fulguration of bleeder
Injection of varices
PEG placement (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy)
Esophageal dilatation/manometry
Esophageal manometry interpretation
Small bowel biopsy
Lower GI endoscopy
Sigmoidoscopy: Flexible + Rigid
Colonoscopy: biopsy + excision of polyp
ERCP/EUS preferred but not required
Assignment Details Resident/teaching supervision required
Average 12 procedures per day
4 procedure rooms / Endo suites
Olympus equipment
Propofol use
Responsible for all charting and pathology follow-up
Well-established, highly accomplished endoscopy team
Facility Trauma Level: 2
