We are seeking a General Medicine Physician to perform Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams and Separation Health Assessments for veterans near Columbus, MS. Position Overview:

Responsibilities:
- Perform Compensation & Pension (C&P) Exams:
- Conduct one-time, non-treatment exams and separation health assessments for veterans.
- Exams are primarily interview-based, supplemented by physical assessments such as range of motion testing and muscle strength evaluations.
- No treatment or prescribing required.
- Coverage Options:
- Option 1: Travel to a designated leased facility to conduct exams.
- Option 2: Schedule and perform exams within your own practice.
- Choose between half-days (4-hour shifts) or full-days (8-hour shifts) based on your availability.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, or a related field.
- Proficiency in:
- Musculoskeletal conditions, diabetes, and cardiovascular health.
- METs testing and diagnosis of respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.
- Experience with goniometer use for physical assessments.
- Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified physician.
- Active and unrestricted license to practice in Mississippi.
- Willingness to complete DMA certification (CME credits available). Note that DMA certification costs and training are not reimbursed.
