Specialty: Cardiothoracic Surgery (CT Surgery Only)

End Date: Ongoing / Indefinite

Coverage Type: Call Only

Schedule: 7 10 days per month (up to 14 days maximum per month)

Credentialing Timeframe: 90 Days

Position Highlights & Requirements

We are seeking a Board Eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon for predictable, ongoing monthly call coverage in Minnesota starting October 2026.

  • Licensure: Active Minnesota (MN) State Medical License or active IMLC required.
  • Certifications: Board Eligible (BE) in Cardiothoracic Surgery, ACLS, ATLS.
  • EHR System: EPIC.
  • Scope of Practice: Dedicated Cardiothoracic Surgery coverage. Note: Vascular surgery is covered by a separate, dedicated vascular service.
Schedule & Coverage Pattern
  • Monthly Volume: 7 10 days per month (flexible up to 14 days).
  • Preferred Block: Ideal schedule pattern is a 7- to 9-day block structured as bookend weekends with the connecting week in between (exact dates TBD).
