Locums - Petoskey, Michigan, Neurologist Opening
Start Date: 11/1/26Expected Duration: Ongoing
Coverage & Schedule:
- Regular onsite hours: 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
- Outpatient clinic: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m., within the regular onsite day
- 24-hour weekend call: 8:00 a.m.-8:00 a.m.
- After-hours call coverage required
- When outpatient appointments are not scheduled, provider is expected to remain onsite for hospital coverage
Patient Volume & Clinical Scope:
- Approximately 6-8 patients per day
- EEG reads for inpatient and outpatient patients as needed
- Radiologic exam interpretation
- Lumbar puncture/spinal tap
- EEG
- Brain death examinations
- Evoked potentials
Support & Systems:
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Neurology - Required; Board Eligible not accepted
- Active Michigan license required at time of name clear
- Provider must be local - Required
- Active DEA - Required
- BLS and ACLS - Required
- NIH Stroke Scale/tPA competency - Preferred
