Opportunity
A hospital-based OB/GYN practice is seeking an experienced Board Certified Obstetrics & Gynecology physician for locum tenens coverage in Washington.
This is a high-volume inpatient opportunity with approximately deliveries per month and a broad OB/GYN case mix. The physician will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic services, including deliveries, C-sections, D&Cs and management of routine and complicated OB/GYN cases.
Responsibilities
Inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care
Vaginal deliveries
Cesarean sections / C-sections
Dilation and curettage / D&C procedures
OB/GYN admissions and rounding
Discharge planning
Management of high-risk and complicated deliveries
Obstetric emergencies
ED consultations and hospitalist calls
Multidisciplinary collaboration
Epic EMR documentation
Requirements
Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
Active Washington medical license or willingness to obtain
Current BLS from AHA or ARC
Recent inpatient OB/GYN clinical experience
Recent procedural experience required
Required Recent Case Experience
Within the previous 24 months, candidates must demonstrate:
At least 15 C-sections
At least 30 vaginal deliveries
At least 50 gynecology patients
Recent C-section experience
Recent D&C experience
Documented inpatient OB/GYN clinical activity
Case logs and supporting documentation will be required during credentialing.
