Urgent Care Opportunity in Santa Cruz, CA
A respected healthcare network in Santa Cruz is seeking an urgent care physician to join a patient-focused clinical team. Deliver high-quality acute care with complete professional autonomy and full day-to-day support, in a desirable coastal community.
The Practice
- Low-acuity outpatient focus: Average volume of 20-30 patients per day (ages 3 months and up), covering simple trauma, suturing, splinting, and minor diagnostic workups
- Turnkey infrastructure: On-site X-ray and lab draw stations, with a dedicated team of five clinical partners, plus RNs, MAs, and APPs
- Loan forgiveness: Practice within an organization eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)
The Schedule
- 10-hour shifts, 9 a.m.-7 p.m.
- 180 shifts per year
- No overnight hours
Compensation & Benefits
- $376,200 guaranteed base salary plus incentive-based production bonuses
- Up to $40,000 sign-on bonus
- Up to $20,000 in relocation support

Candidate Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Urgent Care
- Active or eligible California medical license
- Comfortable with standard outpatient procedures, including suturing, splinting, minor biopsies, and IV placement
- Spanish language proficiency welcome, but not required
