What You ll Do
- Provide full-scope midwifery care in a hospital setting.
- Support patients throughout labor and delivery.
- Provide inpatient call coverage.
- Manage intrapartum, postpartum, and OB triage care.
- Perform first-assist responsibilities.
- Provide postpartum care.
- Perform well-woman gynecologic exams across the lifespan.
What You Need
Required - Board certification.
- Active Texas medical license.
- Active Texas DEA.
- At least 2 years of full-scope midwifery experience.
- At least 2 years of recent first-assist experience, with first-assist experience within the past 2 years.
- Experience managing intrapartum, postpartum, and OB triage care in a hospital setting.
Preferred - Experience in a practice supporting approximately 1,300 1,500 annual births.
- Experience working with Epic EMR.
- Experience in a setting with Level III NICU support and in-house OB/GYN coverage.
