Major Responsibilities:
To transport clients to appointments, shopping, or client events.
To schedule and assist clients/customers for the low vision store.
To assist with Sight Loss Support Group, as schedule permits.
To assist with planning activities for clients young and old.
To assist in contacting clients to help keep client database current.
Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications:
The successful candidate will process the following qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Proficient with entering information into a Database.
Ability to work independently as well as in a group setting.
Valid PA Driver's License and willing to drive clients using agency vehicle or personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement.
Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug test.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in a human services position or related work environment.
Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
Physical/Mental Requirements:
Secure supplies and files.
Digital dexterity and eye/hand coordination in the operation of office equipment.
Light to moderate lifting and carrying of supplies, files, etc.
Ability to speak to and to hear other employees and clients on the telephone and in person.
Body and motor skills sufficient to enable the incumbent to move from one office location to another.
Capable of learning to use typical office equipment.
Performing simple to moderately complex mathematical calculations.
Manipulate a keyboard.
Ability to climb stairs.
Ability to assist clients with getting in and out of a vehicle and to said location.
