COLLECTIONS SUPERVISOR
Seeking a Collections supervisor responsible for performing tasks essential to processing of Accounts Receivable and maintaing the highest level of customer service by assisting in management of the department, developng and improving operational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Review credit collections reports and evaluate effectiveness of current collections policies and procedures
- Provide Accounts Receivable reports to senior leadership
- Perform collections of past-due accounts
- Manage the hold process for customer accounts
- Research and manage dispute resolution processes by working with sales, customer service and customers
- Review past-due accounts for placement with collection agencies when necessary
- Process credit card payment
- Process customer refunds
- Train new asssociates
- Assist manager with special projects and other duties as assigned.
SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or similiar
- At least 5 years of collections experience with 3 years in a supervisory/management role
- Strong analytical skills
- SAP/Warehouse management software experience or similar ERP experience is preferred
- Strong computer skills
