Position Summary As a Broil Cook, you will expertly prepare and cook prime steaks, chops, seafood, and other grilled specialties to our exacting standards, ensuring exceptional flavor, precise doneness, and unwavering commitment to food quality, consistency, and safety in a fine dining environment. Previous broil/grill experience is required. Responsibilities Prepare and cook steaks and other proteins to guest specifications and company standards. Maintain consistency in steak temperatures, presentation, and portioning. Set up and maintain the broil station before, during, and after service. Ensure all food is prepared safely and according to health and sanitation standards. Monitor product quality and minimize waste. Communicate effectively with chefs, expo, and fellow line cooks during service. Keep the station clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout each shift. Follow recipes, prep lists, and daily production schedules. Support the kitchen team as needed to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications Previous broil or grill cooking experience is required. Experience cooking premium steaks is strongly preferred. Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen. Strong understanding of steak temperatures and proper cooking techniques. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent teamwork skills.
