Thoracic Surgeon - Midland, MIAssignment Overview

Location: Midland, Michigan
Position Type: Permanent
Practice Setting: Hospital-Based Thoracic Surgery
Recruitment Reason: Community growth and increasing patient demand

Availability

Schedule: Full-time
Call Rotation: 1:2

Clinical Details

Join an established team consisting of:
- 1 Board Certified Thoracic Surgeon
- 1 Advanced Practice Provider
Busy, established practice serving the community for more than 10 years
Full spectrum of thoracic surgery with a strong focus on thoracic oncology
Access to advanced technology, including:
- EBUS (Endobronchial Ultrasound)
- GPS Lung Navigation
- Da Vinci Xi Robotic Surgical System
- Newly constructed operating rooms
Practice located adjacent to the medical center

Licenses & CertificationsRequired

Board Certified in Thoracic Surgery
Michigan medical license or eligibility for licensure

Experience

Comfortable managing a broad range of thoracic surgical cases, including thoracic oncology
Robotic surgery experience preferred
Experience with advanced thoracic technologies, including EBUS and navigational bronchoscopy, is beneficial
