We're looking for a skilled and dedicated surgeon to cover the following dates: Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Holidays: Labor Day, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Christmas Day, 4th of July, Christmas Eve (1/2 Day Commencing at Noon), Thanksgiving Day Position Details: Specialty: Thoracic Surgery - Cardio Thoracic Surgery Department: Cardio Thoracic Surgery Coverage Type: Call Only Practice Setting: Outpatient, Inpatient (Both Inpatient and Outpatient Required) Board Certification Required Active Wisconsin License Required Call Type: Beeper Call Response Time Required: 15 minutes Additional Details: Admissions per Day: Average 3-4 consults, Supervised stress tests: 4-8, Echo's: 5-12 Types of Cases: Typical "non-interventional" community hospital cardiology cases Description/Other Details: The CVT Surgeons are on call 7A-7A every day. They spend a fair amount of time on site during the week (roughly 6-8 hours per day) managing the CVT patients as well as supporting the interventional cardiologists for procedures they perform.
