Acutely Ill Patients With a Wide Variety of Medical Conditions
Approximately 14-18 Patients Per Provider
Clinical Responsibilities
Evaluate and Manage Patients in the Gastroenterology / Internal Medicine Setting
Assess and Manage Gastroenterology-Related Medical Conditions
Request Specialty Consultations When Clinically Indicated
Educate Patients and Families Regarding Preventive Care, Medical Conditions, Treatments, and Medications
Prescribe and Monitor Medications Appropriate to the Patient's Diagnosis
Order and Monitor Appropriate Medical and Emergency Interventions
Refer Complex or High-Priority Cases to Collaborating Physicians
Collaborate With Physicians on Complicated Diagnostic Problems, Serious Illnesses, Complex Treatment Issues, and Chronic Conditions
Document Evaluations, Diagnoses, Procedures, Treatments, Outcomes, Education, Referrals, and Consultations
Maintain Documentation Compliance for Appropriate Coding and Billing
Participate in Clinical and Quality Review Processes

Board Certified - Required
Active New York License in Hand - Required
Minimum of 3 Years of Recent Experience - Required
AHA BLS - Required
Epic Experience - Required
Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
Credentialing / Submission Requirements
Agency-Branded CV Required at Submission
Current and Complete Work History Required
No Unexplained Work History Gaps of 30 Days or More
Physician Statement Required for Any Malpractice History, Including Dismissed Cases
