Job Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking dependable and experienced Forklift Operators for warehouse and distribution center opportunities in Olathe, KS, and the surrounding areas. We have multiple positions available for candidates with experience operating different types of forklifts. Available Forklift Positions
We are looking for candidates with experience operating one or more of the following types of equipment:
- Reach Truck Operators
- Cherry Picker Operators
- Sit-Down Forklift Operators
- Stand-Up Forklift Operators
Job Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, load, unload, and store products.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Move inventory to designated storage locations within the warehouse.
- Assist with order picking, replenishment, staging, and inventory organization as needed.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines.
- Inspect equipment before use and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment.
- Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Previous forklift operating experience required; experience with reach trucks, cherry pickers, sit-down forklifts, or stand-up forklifts is preferred.
- Ability to operate equipment safely in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well with a team.
- Ability to perform physical warehouse duties, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting as required by the assignment.
- Willingness to work various shifts depending on the position.
