Aerospace Quality Inspector

We are hiring an experienced Aerospace Quality Inspector for a temp-to-hire position in Melbourne, FL. You will perform First Article Inspections (FAI) according to AS9102 standards, read complex engineering drawings and GD&T, and inspect precision aerospace components to ensure quality compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and complete AS9102 Reports (Forms 1, 2, and 3).
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications.
• Conduct dimensional and visual inspections on precision aerospace parts.
• Verify material certifications, test reports, and special process documentation.
• Document nonconforming components and maintain accurate quality records.

Requirements:

• Proven experience performing First Article Inspections in aerospace manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of AS9102 requirements and AS9100 quality standards.
• Expertise in blueprint reading, technical specifications, and GD&T principles.
• Experience using precision measurement tools and inspection equipment.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
