Join our team as a Mechanical Assembler in Plano, Texas. This temp-to-perm opportunity pays $20.00-$23.00 per hour and involves assembling machines and equipment according to engineering specifications. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, with hours varying based on workload; occasional Saturdays and overtime may be required. Candidates must be fluent in Spanish and available to start as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Assemble machines and equipment daily according to engineering specifications.
- Install and build new products using blueprints and schematics.
- Make approved modifications and implement requested alterations.
- Operate a lift and manually move parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Assist other departments with equipment assembly.
- Maintain required records.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent in a related field.
- Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in Spanish.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
- Ability to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and maintain machinery.
- Must have wrenches, a cordless drill, a socket set, and ratchet sets.
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, occasional Saturdays, and overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience assembling machines or mechanical equipment.
