Additional Information
- Coverage Needed: Full-time, ongoing, starting as soon as credentialed
- Schedule: MondayFriday, 8a4:40p
- Call Requirements: Shared call responsibilities, including nights and at least one weekend per month
- Worksite Setting: 100% inpatient
- Patient Population: Primarily children and adolescents, with a preference for providers comfortable treating patients of all ages
- Scope of Work: Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, including psychiatric evaluations, medication management, psychoeducation, crisis intervention, and ongoing patient care
- Clinical Responsibilities: Collaborate with an established team of psychiatrists and clinicians on assessments, treatment plans, and follow-up care
- Common Diagnoses: Depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and substance use disorders
- Patient Volume:
- Child/Adolescent Unit: Average length of stay of 1012 days, with a maximum of 2 admissions or discharges per day
- Adult Unit: Average length of stay of 10 days, with approximately 34 admissions and discharges per day
- Board Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Psychiatry or Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
- License Requirements: Active New York license and DEA
- EMR: Medent
