All About the Role: In this role, you will be reporting to a Production Supervisor for Electrolux Major Appliances NA. This role is onsite.
What You'll Do:
- Cooperatively work with fellow team members on the production floor.
- Reclaim all viable parts for future use and return them to the workstation via manual processes.
- Move defective units to the scrap area using material handling equipment (primarily tugger and/or forklift).
- Maintain good work and organizational skills.
- Be responsible for daily housekeeping and organization in the area of responsibility.
- Have refined motor skills with the ability to visually identify small component parts and remove them manually or with the use of tools.
- Be certified to operate forklift and tuggers (previous experience preferred).
Qualifications and Basic Skills
- 2 years of manufacturing/production experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Able to bend, stoop, reach, grip, and lift 40 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
- Able to sit, stand, and walk for 8-10 hour periods.
- Must be able to communicate in English concisely, both verbally and in writing.
