Best Services of America is accepting applications from experienced appliance repair technicians to complete service appointments at customers homes.
This opportunity is suited to technicians who can diagnose appliance problems independently, perform quality repairs, and communicate professionally with customers and office staff. Experience with TVs and residential HVAC systems is a plus.
Position Overview
Technicians provide service within a mutually agreed geographic area. Appliances serviced include refrigerators, dishwashers, washers, dryers, ranges, ovens, and other major household equipment.
Main Duties
Inspect appliances and determine the cause of reported problems.
Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting using appropriate diagnostic tools.
Consult service manuals, technical information, and wiring diagrams.
Identify required parts and complete repairs.
Document findings, parts used, and repair status in the service ticket system.
Explain service findings and next steps to customers.
Keep the office informed of appointment progress and follow-up needs.
Follow safe working procedures and respect customers homes.
Candidate Requirements
Two or more years of hands-on major appliance repair experience.
Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently.
Professional communication and customer service skills.
A valid drivers license and your own reliable vehicle.
The tools necessary to perform appliance repairs.
A smartphone with a reliable data plan.
An established LLC and General Liability Insurance.
Workers Compensation coverage or an applicable exemption.
Ability to receive parts delivered by shipping carriers.
