Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

A hospital in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, in Bucks County, needs an OB/GYN for call coverage starting as soon as you are credentialed. This is a local role, so it fits an OB/GYN who already lives in the Philadelphia or Bucks County area.

You cover 12-hour shifts, 7am to 7pm, 7pm to 7am, 8am to 8pm or 8pm to 8am, and 24-hour shifts are possible. Hospital call is in house. Practice call is by beeper, 8am to 8am. Weekends are part of the schedule, and the call ratio is 1 in 6.

Required skills include low and high risk obstetrics, routine and complicated deliveries including C-section, breech, multiples and VBAC, repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations, and open and laparoscopic gynecologic surgery. The hospital has an on-site lab and ultrasound, and other OB/GYNs will not be covering during your dates.

Pay is $262.50 an hour, with holiday hours at $393.75 an hour. Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate, and lodging is reimbursed when needed.
