QC INSPECTOR - 2ND SHIFT - PENSION!!! STABLE COMPANY

Proficient in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), with a deep understanding of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) operation and inspection software.

•Ensure accuracy in first part inspections, assisting CNC Operators in the inspection process to validate product readiness for production.

•Identify and report any operational issues or discrepancies promptly.

•Document inspection results from CMM, Vision Systems and Comparators accurately.

•Utilize quality software to create and manage detailed inspection reports in alignment with company standards.

•Generate and maintain records of first article inspections and other quality metrics for review by leadership.

•Proficient in operating all gauges used on the Inspection Granite (i.e. Concentricity Guge, Height Gauge, Blocks, Sine Plate, and Dial Indicators).

•Proficient operating CMM, Comparators and Vision Systems to perform precise quality inspections.

•Ability to read blueprints, and CAD drawings, and have a basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing, while understanding the specifications and tolerances for each item.

•Ability to detect defects in items by visual and dimensional inspections.

•Work and communicate with other members of the QC team to identify trends in defects and recommend improvements in processes and materials.

•Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned by your supervisor.

•Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
