Responsibilities: - Perform routine dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures
- Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments and document patient records
- Take and review dental X-rays and present findings to the dentist
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Screen patients for oral diseases, including periodontal disease and oral cancer
- Apply preventive treatments such as fluoride and dental sealants
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care and workflow
Requirements: - Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Ohio
- Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience with dental practice management software preferred
- Strong knowledge of periodontal therapy and preventive dental care
- Excellent communication and patient relations skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a team environment
