Pipefitter Opportunities in the Wixom, Michigan Area!
Day Shift - Entry to Advanced positions available with training provided.
A multinational company with a facility in the Wixom, Michigan area is currently seeking several Pipefitters for Long-Term Full-Time opportunities with their growing team. The position is full-time and long-term with starting pay rates between $25 to $30 per hour based on each candidates experience and education. We will pay more for the right skills and experience. All well qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. Overtime is paid at premium rates over 40 hours. We offer excellent benefits including great medical, dental, 401k, and more.
Qualified Welder Fabricators will have most, if not all, of the following skills and experience:
- MIG and TIG Weld and be able to position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly/tacking and/or welding.
- Fabrication experience with custom / prototype builds, assemblies, with ability to fabricate precision engineered structures from scratch.
- Read and interpret blueprints, troubleshoot build issues and work closely with engineering.
- Able to assess and determine appropriate equipment and methods to fabricate with.
- Ability to operate shop tools/machinery: shears, presses, saws, drill press, grinders, rigging and cranes.
- Use of precision measuring tools, squares, and scales.
- Must be authorized to work in the US, and complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, etc.
