Location: Jackson, MI (with occasional travel to Hillsdale, MI as needed)
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
Employment Type: Contingent assignment (ASAP through at least the end of January)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM; no weekends or holidays

In this role, you'll help ensure individuals seeking behavioral health services receive exceptional care and support from their very first interaction. Your contributions will help create a welcoming environment while supporting providers and patients through efficient clinical and administrative assistance.
What You'll Do
• Welcome and assist individuals with empathy, professionalism, and excellent customer service
• Perform patient screenings, collect vital signs, and accurately document information in the EMR
• Support medication pre-authorizations, referrals, care alerts, and consumer inquiries
• Conduct Clozaril point-of-care finger stick testing and communicate results appropriately
• Assist physicians, nurses, and telehealth providers with patient management and administrative tasks
• Ensure telehealth equipment is functioning properly and clinical areas remain organized and safe
• Obtain, upload, and manage medical records, lab results, and related documentation
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support efficient clinic operations
What We're Looking For
• A current, up-to-date resume
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited program recognized in the State of Michigan
• Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills
• Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred
• Associate's degree in a health-related field preferred
• Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential preferred
• Ability to meet compliance requirements
• Must be eligible and provide proof of eligibility to work in the US
