Job Details We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join a growing finance team supporting regional accounting operations. This role will contribute to the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, support general ledger activities, and help ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal accounting policies. Responsibilities: Support full-cycle accounting activities, including balance sheet reconciliations and financial statement preparation. Perform daily and monthly bank account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records. Prepare and post journal entries related to accruals, prepaid expenses, and deferred revenue. Import daily revenue transactions into the accounting system, Sage Intacct. Assist with annual audits and financial reviews by preparing supporting documentation, schedules, and reconciliations. Assist in preparing year-end tax schedules and other requested financial documentation. Respond professionally and promptly to internal and external accounting inquiries. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on accounting initiatives and special projects. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency. Perform additional duties as needed to support the finance department. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field required. Two to four years of relevant accounting experience. Solid understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting principles. Experience with journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience with Sage Intacct is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience with cost accounting or multi-entity organizations is a plus.
