A private, patient-focused dental practice in Baldwin, NY is looking for a friendly and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team.

Schedule
Part-time 2 days per week
- Monday is required: 11:00 AM 7:00 PM
- Tuesday OR Thursday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Some flexibility with hours may be possible
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care, including patient assessments, dental cleanings, and periodontal therapy
- Perform thorough patient evaluations and document findings accurately
- Educate patients on oral health, proper hygiene techniques, and preventive care
- Provide personalized recommendations to help patients maintain optimal oral health
- Assist the doctor with diagnosis and treatment planning as needed
- Complete accurate charting and documentation using Dentrix
- Maintain a warm, professional, and compassionate chairside manner
- Help create a comfortable and positive patient experience
- Communicate effectively with the dentist and dental team
- Work collaboratively with the clinical and front office teams
Qualifications
- Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year of dental hygiene experience preferred
- Friendly, outgoing, and compassionate personality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
- Patient-focused approach to care
- Team-oriented and dependable
- Comfortable using modern dental technology and dental practice software
- Experience with Dentrix is a plus
