Opportunity:
Physician - Emergency Medicine
Job Details:
- Emergency Medicine Board Certified physician required; Primary Care Physicians with EM experience will not be considered
- 12-hour shifts available with both AM (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) and PM (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) coverage needed
- Single physician coverage model with APP support during each shift
- Facility features 10 exam rooms and 1 triage space
- Expected patient volume of approximately 1.6 patients per hour with daily volumes up to 80 patients per day
- Patient mix is mostly low acuity with occasional higher acuity walk-in patients
- Nurse/APP triage available for lower acuity patients
- ED admission rate is approximately 5% or less
- This is a high-performing, fast-paced environment; not a slow-pace free-standing emergency department
- Normal ER support staff provided
- One day orientation with 1 to 2 shadow days required
