Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking vehicles.
Mix paints and primers according to specifications.
Ensure all safety and quality standards are met during the preparation process.
Assist in the organization and maintenance of the paint shop.
Collaborate with painters to ensure timely project completion.
Perform quality checks on prepared surfaces before painting.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements:

Previous experience in automotive paint preparation is preferred.
Knowledge of paint mixing and application techniques.
Ability to nib, polish, wet sand and buff.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.
Good communication skills and teamwork mentality.
Must be able to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
Valid driver's license is a plus.
