- Types of Cases: 12 patient encounters per shift; Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, injection of varices, and PEG; Esophageal dilatation/manometry; Small bowel biopsy; Lower GI endoscopy; Flexible sigmoidoscopy; Colonoscopy with biopsy and excision of polyp; Insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube
- Credentialing: Estimated 90 days; providers can start once credentialed
Minimum Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Eligible minimum; Board Certification required
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS
- Licensure: California license or strong ties to Orange County or California
- Fellowship: Fellowship trained within 1 year of residency acceptable
