RVN Inc. is recruiting for Senior Piping Designer / Piping Design Team Leader in Charlotte, North Carolina. Full-time, office-based.
Lead piping layout, 3D modeling and design-team coordination on power, energy and industrial EPC projects. Prepare and check arrangements, plans, sections, isometrics and construction deliverables. Review vendor/shop drawings; coordinate interfaces with engineering and construction; mentor designers and support schedules, manpower and quality reviews.
Requirements: high school diploma or associate degree with relevant drafting/design coursework; 12+ years piping design/layout; demonstrated team leadership; advanced AutoCAD, MicroStation or Revit; proficiency with CADWorx, Navisworks and Microsoft Office. Plant 3D and/or AVEVA E3D preferred. Power-plant turbine-building, HRSG or balance-of-plant piping experience preferred.
