What You ll Do
- Provide 24-hour hospital-based neurosurgical call coverage
- Perform emergent neurosurgical evaluations and surgeries
- Provide care for both spinal and cranial cases
- Round on hospitalized patients daily
- Manage inpatient admissions and ongoing neurosurgical care
- Collaborate with neurosurgery and orthopedic spine providers and advanced practice clinicians
- Use the Cerner electronic medical record
What You Need
Required: - Board certification in Neurosurgery
- Demonstrated ability to perform both spinal and cranial procedures
- Availability for scheduled 24-hour call coverage
- Ability to provide emergent surgical care, inpatient rounding, and admissions
Preferred: - Experience in a hospital-based neurosurgical setting
- Experience managing a daily inpatient census of approximately 5 10 patients
