Coverage Commitment: 1, 2, or 3 weeks per month, with the provider required to complete the full selected coverage block

Support Staff: APP available Monday Friday, approximately 8 AM 3/4 PM, to assist with consults. APPs are not available on weekday holidays.

Anesthesia Support: Anesthesia available in-house

Procedures: ERCP preferred; EUS not required
Schedule & Coverage
The coverage block runs from Friday through the following Friday.

Friday: 12 PM 5 PM onsite for consults and procedures, followed by call from 5 PM 7 AM.

Saturday: 7 AM 5 PM onsite, followed by call from 5 PM 7 AM.

Sunday: 7 AM 5 PM onsite, followed by call from 5 PM 7 AM.

Monday Wednesday: 7 AM 5 PM onsite.

Thursday: 7 AM 5 PM onsite, followed by call from 5 PM 7 AM.

Following Friday: 7 AM 12 PM onsite.
Clinical Details

Provide inpatient gastroenterology consultations and procedures.

Manage adult patients in the hospital setting.

Perform gastroenterology procedures, with ERCP experience preferred.

EUS is not required.
-
Collaborate with APPs for weekday consult support.
Requirements

Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology
-
Active Pennsylvania medical license
-
DEA required
-
Minimum 1 year of experience

Credentialing timeframe: approximately 90 days

Temporary privileges may be available for candidates with a clean file
