Senior Controls Engineer - Industrial Automation & Robotics
Starting Salary: $120,000+ Direct Hire Hybrid Flexibility Up to 50% Travel
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Controls Engineer to lead the development and integration of advanced industrial automation systems used in paint and dispensing applications.
This hands-on technical leadership opportunity is ideal for an engineer with a strong background in PLC programming, HMI development, robotics, and OEM automation systems who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and mentoring other engineers.

What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of controls or systems engineering experience in an OEM, industrial automation, or systems integration environment
- Strong hands-on PLC programming experience, ideally with both Allen-Bradley and Siemens
- Experience developing PLC/HMI software and integrating automated equipment
- Knowledge of industrial communications, electrical systems, and electromechanical schematics
- Experience with robotics, commissioning, and technical troubleshooting
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead projects and mentor engineers
- Experience with paint and dispensing systems, robotic applications, and VB.NET/Visual Studio is highly desirable.
Additional Details: This position begins in person before transitioning to a hybrid schedule and requires up to 50% domestic and international travel.
