Maintenance Technician

Warren, MI 48089
Shift: 3pm to 11pm
(Some OT available during the week and on weekends when required)
Pay Range: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform custodial duties, groundskeeping, general maintenance, and minor repairs.
- Assist with preventive maintenance and repairs to facility equipment.
- Perform minor repairs to heat-treat equipment and install equipment as directed.
- Operate standard shop tools, including hand and power tools, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, as well as precision measuring instruments and electrical testing devices.
- Keep machinery, equipment, and surrounding areas clean and organized.
- Perform building repairs and general facility maintenance.
- Maintain accurate and thorough records of maintenance work performed.
- Follow management direction and complete other duties as assigned.
- Follow all company safety rules, procedures, and policies.
- Perform general labor as assigned, including loading, unloading, and moving materials.
Job Requirements:
- Must have at least two years of general maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility.
- Must have good communication skills, reliable attendance, and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Must be able to squat, crawl, stand, and bend for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must have forklift experience.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
