Parts Finisher

Join a rapidly growing, 25-person manufacturer of grinding and drilling tools as a Parts Finisher. In this hands-on role, you will finish parts after plating by sandblasting, polishing, buffing, removing masking, and cleaning components for shipment. You will work with grinding tools, drilling tools, mixed metal components, and custom fabricated parts using manual hand tools, bench polishing equipment, and other finishing equipment. Quality is verified through visual and dimensional inspection, with the role reporting to the production supervisor and operations manager.

Responsibilities

• Finish parts following the plating process.
• Sandblast, polish, and buff grinding tools, drilling tools, and metal components.
• Remove tape and masking from finished parts.
• Clean parts with solvent, including acetone, as appropriate.
• Use manual hand tools, bench polishing equipment, and other finishing equipment.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections to verify quality.
• Prepare completed parts for shipping.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with sandblasting, metal polishing, or buffing.
• Attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Manual dexterity and comfort performing hands-on finishing work.
