We are currently seeking a Environmental Waste Technician / Forklift Operator for a hands-on industrial environment. This position requires a motivated individual who is comfortable performing physical labor, operating powered industrial equipment (PIE), and working safely around industrial waste materials.
$23-$28/hourWeekly PayTeam-Oriented Environment- Operate a forklift (PIE) to transport and manage waste materials throughout the facility
- Dump industrial waste into designated containers
- Crush and process 55-gallon drums
- Punch and drain aerosol cans following safety procedures
- Handle and manage used coolant and other waste streams
- Collect and dispose of facility trash and debris
- Record and track drum weights accurately
- Move, stack, and handle empty pallets
- Maintain a clean and organized environmental waste area
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous forklift/PIE operating experience required
- Ability to safely work in an industrial environment
- Comfortable performing physically demanding, hands-on labor throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail when recording weights and handling materials
- Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Requirements:
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move materials throughout the shift
- Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors as needed
- Previous experience working with industrial waste, recycling, environmental services, or general labor is a plus
Pay Details: $23.10 to $28.87 per hour
