Job Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair material handling equipment
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance activities
- Evaluates and makes recommendations regarding repairs
- Keep overhead crane systems operating by performing inspections, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventative maintenance, responding to repair calls
- Documents service and installation actions by completion of forms, reports and inspection checklists
- Inspect overhead industrial cranes and hoists to ensure safety and compliance with manufacturing OSHA and ANSI standards
- Other duties as assigned by manager
Job Requirements
- Maintain low incident MVR and valid driver's license
- At least one year of crane and hoist experience
- Must be ok with some out of town work, up to 5% of the time. Per diem and hotel stay covered in the event of overnight stay. Other branches include:
- Indiana: Ft Wayne and Indianapolis
- Ohio: Cincinnati and Columbus
- Kentucky: Louisville
- Must be able to work in elevated areas
- Must be able to work with voltages up to 480V and in compliance with lockout/tagout procedures
