Gas Tec Plumbing and Heating seeks a dependable plumber and gas technician to install, maintain, and repair plumbing and gas systems in residential and commercial properties. The right candidate works safely, communicates clearly with customers, and takes pride in completing quality work.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, fixtures, pipes, and equipment
• Install, service, and repair gas piping, appliances, and related equipment
• Diagnose problems and explain recommended repairs to customers
• Read plans, work orders, and equipment instructions
• Test systems for proper operation and check for leaks
• Follow applicable safety practices, codes, and company procedures
• Keep the work area clean and protect customer property
• Document completed work, materials used, and any follow-up needed
• Maintain company tools and equipment and report any damage or safety concerns
• Communicate with the office and team members about job progress and scheduling

Qualifications

• Experience in plumbing, gas service, or a related trade
• Knowledge of plumbing and gas systems, tools, and safety procedures
• Valid driver's license and a reliable driving record
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional and respectful customer service skills
• Ability to read work orders and complete service documentation

Physical requirements

The position may require lifting and carrying tools and materials, working in confined spaces, climbing ladders, and standing, kneeling, or bending for extended periods. Reasonable accommodations may be available.
