Job Summary:
Qualified Candidates: - Proficiency in OB Anesthesia (350 deliveries/year) peripheral nerve blocks, and vascular access/line placement
- Comfortable with independent/solo practice in a rural setting
- Experience with pediatric, OB, peripheral nerve blocks, spinal and epidurals and central line placement
- Adaptable to variable call demands and case mix
- Values autonomy and a wide scope of practice
Call Structure: - 1:4 solo call model
- Call responsibilities: surgical cases, OB and other hospital needs including ED support, airway management, and line placement
- >50% callback rate on primary call nights
- Must be available within 30 minutes of the hospital while on call
