Job description

A 42-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital in north-central Wisconsin is seeking a physiatrist to take over as Medical Director this October, as the current Medical Director transitions to open a new sister facility.

Support Structure: Dedicated NP support, plus a second PM&R physician on staff.
Tailored Workload: 42 beds split across two units.
October Start: Clean handoff from the outgoing Medical Director no ground-up build required.
System Momentum: Part of a health system actively opening new facilities.

About the area: North central Wisconsin is Northwoods country lakes, trails, and four real seasons, with a slower pace and strong sense of community. It s a good fit for a physician who wants outdoor access (fishing, hunting, snowmobiling) and an easy commute over big-city sprawl.
