What You ll Do
- Provide overnight urology call coverage for adult community hospitals.
- Respond to emergency call-backs within the required 30-minute response time.
- Evaluate and manage general urology cases and procedures.
- Provide coverage for one to two assigned hospitals at a time.
- Determine when on-site presence is required based on patient needs.
- Document patient care using Epic.
- Coordinate care within the emergency department setting.
What You Need
Required: - Board certification in Urology.
- Active Missouri and Illinois medical licenses.
- BLS certification.
- Availability for approximately 5 7 24-hour night shifts per month.
- Ability to meet the required 30-minute response time.
Preferred: - Eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC), with the ability to obtain Missouri and Illinois licenses.
- Experience providing emergency department call coverage.
- Experience with Epic.
About the Assignment
This assignment provides urology call coverage for adult community hospitals. Coverage is primarily scheduled on weekends, with some variation, and may include multiple assigned hospitals that will be identified in advance. Estimated call volume is approximately calls per coverage period, and not every call requires on-site presence.
