Urology Physician Job Requirements
- Physician with at least 1 year of clinical experience in urology
- Board certification in urology required
- Current BLS certification required
- Appropriate physician credentials and eligibility to practice in Indiana
- Ability to complete the credentialing process, which may take approximately 90 days
- Experience caring for adult and pediatric urology patients preferred
- Advanced procedural and surgical experience preferred, including endoscopic, laparoscopic, robotic, ureteroscopic, and stone-management procedures
Urologist Responsibilities
- Provide continuous 24/7 urology call coverage
- Round on urology inpatients during daytime hours
- Evaluate and manage emergency department and inpatient urology consultations
- Perform on-call urologic surgeries and procedures as clinically indicated
- Deliver timely consultations, diagnostic evaluations, treatment plans, and follow-up care
- Collaborate with hospital-based teams to support safe, high-quality patient care
