Sales Analyst / Financial Analyst
We are seeking a detail-oriented Sales Analyst / Financial Analyst for a growing manufacturing organization in the Libertyville, IL area. This position will partner with sales leadership and finance to analyze business performance, track financial and sales trends, and develop reports that support informed business decisions.
Requirements of the Sales Analyst / Financial Analyst
- 5+ years of experience in sales analysis, financial analysis, business analytics, or a related role
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP, and complex formulas
- Experience analyzing sales, financial, and operational data
- Ability to develop reports, interpret trends, and present findings to management
- Experience with ERP systems, Power BI, or other reporting tools preferred
- Manufacturing or distribution industry experience preferred
Responsibilities of the Sales Analyst / Financial Analyst
- Analyze sales results, revenue, profitability, customer performance, and business trends
- Prepare financial reports, sales forecasts, performance dashboards, and management summaries
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve profitability and business performance
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Partner with sales leadership and finance to evaluate results and support strategic decisions
- Develop, maintain, and improve Excel-based reporting tools and analytical models
- Review sales and financial data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness
- Recommend process improvements to increase reporting efficiency and support operational goals
- Assist with special projects and additional analysis as business needs evolve
Full-Time, DIRECT HIRE
Pay is $90,000 - $110,000 annually, based on experience
