Senior Revit Drafter
Location: Tampa, FL
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Revit Drafter to prepare erection drawings, shop tickets, and material requisitions for structural precast projects. Projects may include parking garages, multifamily housing, mixed-use developments, infrastructure, hotels, and other precast structures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare erection drawings, shop tickets, and material requisitions using contract drawings, specifications, and engineering calculations.
- Create plan views, elevations, sections, and details for complete erection drawing sets.
- Identify missing or unclear information in contract documents and prepare requests for information (RFIs).
- Coordinate with design team members, engineers, and project managers to resolve questions.
- Support junior drafters with shop tickets and drafting questions.
- Work with production to provide information needed for quality control and accurate production.
Qualifications
- At least five years of drafting experience in the same or a similar industry.
- Experience with Autodesk Revit.
- Experience with EDGE Revit is highly preferred.
- Structural precast detailing experience is highly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret building blueprints and drawings.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and time management skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Occasional local job-site visits with the Engineering Manager may be required.
