We are seeking a Heavy Duty Forklift Operator to support production operations under the direction of the Finish Shop Supervisor. This role safely operates high-capacity counterbalance forklifts and other equipment to handle shipping containers, steel, and construction materials while moving materials efficiently between work areas.
Responsibilities
- Operate high-capacity counterbalance forklifts and multiple equipment types to transport materials between work areas.
- Handle shipping containers, steel, and construction materials.
- Move materials in support of daily production operations.
- Load and position containers and heavy materials safely and efficiently.
- Perform heavy-load handling in industrial work environments.
- Follow all applicable safety procedures and maintain safety compliance during forklift operations.
