Family Practice - Without OB Physician

We are seeking a qualified Family Medicine Physician to provide outpatient care to patients of all ages in Ketchikan, Alaska. This opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule.

Location: Ketchikan, Alaska
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.
Start Date: ASAP, ideally November 23, 2026; official start date January 2027

Position Details

• Practice Setting: Outpatient
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.
• Patient Population: All ages
• Patient Volume: patients per day
• EMR: EPIC

Qualifications & Requirements

• Family Medicine specialty preferred; Internal Medicine physicians may also be considered.
• Case logs must demonstrate experience serving as the admitting physician for at least 20 patients within the past two years.
• Ability to provide comprehensive outpatient care to patients across all age groups.
• Experience using EPIC electronic medical records preferred.

Preferred Procedures

Experience performing the following procedures is preferred:

• Skin excisions and punch biopsies
• Nexplanon insertion and removal
• Intrauterine device (IUD) insertion and removal
• Cryotherapy
• Toenail evulsions
