CW Emission Test Support Technician - 2nd Shift

Job Title: Transaxle Test Technician - 2nd Shift- 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM

Job Description

As a Transaxle Technician, you will be responsible for setting up test vehicles on a transaxle dynamometer .You will operate the dynamometer following specific test traces or engineering directions.

Responsibilities

• Set up a transaxle dynamometer using standard processes.
• Operate machines as per engineering requests.
• Support daily test scheduling and test cell organization.
• Participate in safety and quality assurance activities.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of bench dyno testing experience (transaxle testing preferred)
• 2 to 5+ years of experience installing, removing, troubleshooting, and repairing transaxles in a service or testing environment
• Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School diploma required, AA or trade school education preferred.
• Experience in general automotive repair.
• ASE Certifications are advantageous.

Work Environment

The position is for the 2nd Shift, with working hours from 3pm to 11:30pm.

This is a Contract position based out of Ann Arbor, MI.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a Contract position based out of Ann Arbor, MI.

This position is anticipated to close on Oct 27, 2026.
