About the Role: RLGC Law Group, PLLC is looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated Estate Planning Paralegal to join their team in Latham, NY. Responsibilities: - Draft and prepare estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives
- Assist attorneys with trust administration, probate filings, and estate settlement matters
- Communicate directly with clients to gather information, provide updates, and ensure a smooth client experience
- Organize and maintain client files, legal documents, and case management systems
- Conduct legal research related to estate planning, tax law, and probate procedures
- Coordinate document execution, notarization, and proper filing with courts or government agencies
- Support attorneys in preparing for client meetings and consultations
Requirements: - Prior paralegal experience in estate planning, trusts, probate, or elder law preferred
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program is a plus
- Strong knowledge of estate planning documents, terminology, and legal procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-focused demeanor
- Proficiency in legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
