Job Details:

  • Pay Rate: $360/hr
  • Qualifications: MD/DO Cardiology
    • Board Certified
    • WA License (highly preferred) or IMLC with LOQ in hand
    • DEA, ACLS, BLS
    • Clean malpractice
  • Facility: A General Medical and Surgical Hospital
    • VMFH St. Michael Medical Center; also cross-credential at VMFH Port Townsend
  • Schedule: Dates: ASAP - Ongoing (3+ months)
    • Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
    • 2-3 weeks per month
    • Likely Mondays in Port Townsend once privileges granted; St. Michael until then
    • No Call
  • Assignment: Outpatient Clinic
    • Outpatient clinic: new consults, follow-ups, transfer of care
    • Close encounters within 24 hours; result ECGs for patient care
    • May result Zio monitors when backlog; may supervise nursing visits/stress tests
    • No expectation for echo or stress test interpretations
    • Support: MA, RN, echo techs
    • EMR: Epic
    • Credentialing: up to 90 days
    • Reason: backfilling vacant position
